I have been teaching for nearly 20 years. I started teaching in 2002, first in San Antonio at all the community colleges (except SAC), St. Mary's University & Our Lady of the Lake University. I've been with Austin Community College (ACC) for nearly 19 years, as I came to Austin & ACC in 2005. It has been an amazing experience. I have met so many great students, faculty, & staff. I was at the RVS campus for 18 years, but I am now at the HLC campus. I have my degrees in Political Science. A great experience to add to my political adventures has been writing the 16th, 17th, 17th enhanced, 18th & 18th enhanced edition of the textbook Practicing Texas Politics. I'm a co-author.
My husband & I have four beautiful children: Alessandra (23), Anahi (14), Amari (13) & Aria (8). My family is my reason for everything!
I look forward to meeting new students & introducing them to the amazing world of politics & government.
