Take the ONL survey to see if the class is right for you. Click this website to take an assessment test, where you can get an idea if ONL (online) courses are right for you.
ALSO NOTE: If you are wanting to have your exams proctored because you live outside of Austin or Texas you NEED TO EMAIL ME BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR THE COURSE, as I do NOT always proctor exams. I am not proctoring exams for 2016-2017 semesters, all tests MUST be taken at an ACC Testing Center.
The DL Student Handout says:
"Students who live outside the Austin-area and cannot travel to an ACC testing center may be able to have their exams proctored at another location through the Distance Testing program. Instructor pre-approval is required. Students are strongly encouraged to discuss testing options with the instructor prior to registering for the class."
I am not providing proctored exams at this time.
The best thing to do is email Professors who are teaching online courses that you are interested in taking & ask them, BEFORE signing up for their course, if they will allow proctored exams. Wait to see which Professors email you back to then choose which class to take.
